Thur May 2: The Bible As Literature Discussion Group 7pm FREE
Explore one of the Old Testament's most memorable characters, Elijah, as he interacts with and works on behalf of the Old Testament's singularly most dramatic character, Yahweh. Sarcastic, depressive and violent, Elijah makes for a fascinating literary protagonist. Join in the open discussion in which all perspectives are welcome as we look at the Bible as a work of literature, without religious agenda. Facilitated by Josh Selfe, a lifelong Bible enthusiast and Salvation Army Minister. Come along to have a drink and a chat. This event is FREE but please reserve a place by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
