Our in-shop book club INK & DRINK meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm and is free. Discussion lasts approximately 1 hour. No need to book. Bar opens from 6.30pm so come along, buy a cool G&T and join in the chat. ***Please note that while we do not charge for the book club, we do expect customers who attend to purchase the book from the shop, and to support us by buying a drink on the night, if possible. This enables us to fund the club and keep it free. Many thanks for your support!***

INK & DRINK: Wednesday Dec 4th 7pm

by Guy Gunaratne

Provocative, raw and poetic, Gunaratne's debut received a clutch of award nominations including the Man Booker longlist and won the Dylan Thomas Prize. It follows three young men caught up in riots following the killing of a British soldier. Unfolding over the course of 48 hours, this is a 'tinderbox of a novel....that asks what constitutes a community.' -- The Guardian.
