About The Tutor
Dr Claire Griffiths is an enthusiastic and experienced creative writing teacher who currently teaches on the University of Hull’s Online Creative Writing MA and on Imperial College’s online adult learner course ‘Short Story Writing’. She has previously lectured at Brunel University with Booker Prize winner Bernardine Evaristo, run the creative writing programme at the University for the Creative Arts, and taught at the University of East Anglia.
As a writer, Claire was selected for the University of East Anglia’s renowned Creative
Writing: Prose MA programme, and continued on to a scholarship-funded PhD in Creative
and Critical Writing. Her short stories have been featured in major publications,
including Litro, Flash Fiction Magazine and The Feathertale Review, broadcast on BBC Radio 4, and both short- and long-listed for literary awards including the Bristol Short Story Prize and the Bath Short Story Award.
